Objective
Create a celebration that feels as meaningful as the stories being shared.
International Women’s Day brought together iHeartMedia talent, artists, leaders, partners, and guests for an afternoon centered around conversation, connection, and women’s voices. The goal was to create a cohesive identity and experience that could bring all of those pieces together while still feeling warm, energetic, and distinctly iHeart.
The Challenge
One identity, a lot of different moments.
The event needed to work across everything from invitations and digital promotion to a fireside chat, live performances, environmental graphics, sponsor moments, and social content. The challenge was creating a system flexible enough to move between all of those applications while still feeling like one connected experience.
Creative Direction
Building a visual language around voice and connection.
I developed the creative direction around the idea of amplifying women’s voices. Broadcast-inspired icons, organic shapes, layered illustration, and a warm pink-to-plum palette created a system that felt expressive without losing clarity. Rather than designing each asset independently, I built a visual language that could expand across digital, environmental, and experiential applications.
From Screen To Space
Extending the identity into the physical environment.
The visual system carried into the event through stage graphics, signage, branded details, and environmental touchpoints. Elements from the original illustration system were scaled, cropped, and reconfigured across formats so the space felt connected to the campaign without every application looking identical.
The Experience
Creating a space for conversation, music, and connection.
The event brought the identity into motion through live performances, conversations, and shared moments throughout the space. I supported the experience across creative execution and onsite content capture, documenting both the programmed moments and the smaller interactions that gave the event its energy.
Extending The Experience
The experience continued beyond the event itself through social-first video and real-time content. I captured and edited moments throughout the day, translating performances, conversations, and candid interactions into content designed for each platform.
The Outcome
The final execution created a cohesive branded experience that successfully translated from promotion to live event and post-event storytelling. The visual system remained consistent across digital, environmental, and experiential touchpoints while supporting sponsor visibility, artist performances, and fireside discussions. Through real-time social coverage and video content capture, the event experience extended beyond the venue itself, creating additional audience engagement and a lasting content library that supported continued storytelling after the event.
