This project involved a comprehensive rebrand of DC101derland, an annual multi-artist concert at The Anthem, aiming to revitalize its visual identity to better reflect DC101, the Alternative Rock Station of the DMV.
The Challenge
My primary role was to unify the visual branding of both BIG100 and the Washington Commanders across diverse media, from live game broadcasts to stadium displays and digital platforms. This involved creating a cohesive and compelling visual narrative that resonated with both fan bases while delivering engaging content across multiple touch-points.
My Approach
I spearheaded the comprehensive redesign of the event’s visual identity, which included:
Website Development: Designed and developed the dedicated event page.
Graphics Creation: Produced all static and motion graphics for social, digital, and print formats.
Social Strategy Direction: Led the social media campaign to effectively promote and highlight the event.
Client Deliverables Management: Managed sponsor and venue requirements while maintaining new branding.
Media Production Oversight: Oversaw videography for artist interviews and photography of the show.
The Outcome
The successful rebrand resulted in a refreshed and cohesive visual identity for DC101derland, significantly enhancing event promotion and engagement. The integrated design approach and streamlined management provided valuable assets for future marketing, solidifying DC101derland's position as a premier annual concert event in the DMV.
