World Pride DC + HOT 99.5 + Capital Pride + Pride Radio

For World Pride DC 2025, I led the design of the HOT 99.5 float for the annual parade, alongside supporting magazine advertisements. The goal was to create a vibrant, inclusive presence that celebrated World Pride, promoted Pride Radio, and provided significant brand visibility for HOT 99.5 and its sponsor, Casamigos Tequila.

The Challenge

The main challenge was to seamlessly blend multiple brand identities—HOT 99.5's energetic persona, Pride Radio's inclusive message, and Casamigos Tequila's aesthetic—into a cohesive and visually striking float design. Concurrently, the magazine ads needed to encourage Capital Pride participation and drive listenership to Pride Radio, all while maintaining a consistent visual theme.

My Approach

My Approach: As the lead graphic designer, I managed all visual content, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality production. My contributions included:

Float Design: Developed a dynamic and eye-catching float that incorporated the energetic identity of HOT 99.5 with the inclusive message of Pride Radio, and prominently featured Casamigos Tequila.
Magazine Ads: Created compelling visual content for magazine ads, designed to promote listening to Pride Radio and/or joining the parade, while aligning with the overall campaign aesthetic.

My strategy focused on a seamless integration of visual elements, supporting the celebratory atmosphere of World Pride and maximizing visibility for all involved brands.
